The Quin • Milwaukee, WI
A four-story, wood-framed apartment building over one level of precast are supported on steel piles on a tight urban site. The 82,000 SF building has cantilevers on three faces, and a green space courtyard above parking accessible to the residents. The proximity of railroad tracks on the north side of the building required special foundations and soil stabilization. 2019 Mayor’s Design Award
