Renovation of two historic buildings, formerly home to the Milwaukee Journal. The original structure, built in 1924, is 145,500 SF. The second structure, which housed the newspaper press and was built in 1962, is 206,000 SF. The two buildings are now home to 141 market-rate and affordable housing units. Structural work included new infill slabs, wall openings, headers, elevator shafts, raised floors, and column removals.
